Thymosin Alpha-1 is a 28-amino-acid peptide naturally produced by the thymus gland. It has attracted growing interest in research focused on immune modulation, infectious disease management, and vaccine adjuvancy.

Studies have shown that Thymosin Alpha-1 enhances T-cell maturation, differentiation, and function, promoting Th1-type immune responses while regulating inflammation. It also increases the activity of natural killer (NK) cells and dendritic cells. It may also play a role in chronic infection control, immune restoration, and modulation of cytokine storms.

Key Research Areas:

  • T-cell maturation and Th1 immune response enhancement

  • NK cell activation and innate immunity boosting

  • Chronic viral infection and infectious disease research

  • Vaccine adjuvant and immune restoration studies

  • Cytokine storm modulation and sepsis research
