TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4) is a synthetic version of a naturally occurring 43-amino-acid peptide found in virtually all human and animal cells. It has attracted growing interest in research focused on tissue repair, wound healing, and inflammation reduction.
Studies have shown that TB-500 promotes cell migration, angiogenesis, and extracellular matrix remodeling by binding to actin and regulating G-actin sequestration. It also downregulates inflammatory cytokines and accelerates healing in muscle, skin, and connective tissues. It may also play a role in cardiac repair, hair follicle regeneration, corneal healing, and reduction of fibrosis.
