Home Special KPV

KPV is a tripeptide derived from alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH), specifically the C-terminal fragment. It has attracted growing interest in research focused on anti-inflammatory effects, gut health, and immune modulation.

Studies have shown that KPV exerts potent anti-inflammatory activity by inhibiting NF-κB activation and reducing pro-inflammatory cytokine production such as TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6. It also promotes wound healing and protects epithelial barrier function. It may also play a role in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) research, skin inflammation reduction, and treatment of chronic inflammatory conditions.

Key Research Areas:

  • NF-κB inhibition and anti-inflammatory signaling

  • Gastrointestinal health and IBD research

  • Epithelial barrier protection and wound healing

  • Skin inflammation and dermatological studies

  • Immune modulation and cytokine regulation
